Despite HCV and harm reduction programs saving lives, saving costs, proving cost-effective, and providing enormous returns on investment, the funding necessary to apply these innovations to accelerate treatment and diagnosis is absent. The ongoing, global campaign targets bilateral and multilateral donors, including but not limited to Unitaid, the Global Fund, and PEPFAR to step up funding for viral hepatitis and harm reduction to curb the epidemics.
