Malaysia’s HCV Self-Testing

In 2021, FIND, the global alliance for diagnostics launched the HCV self-testing in Malaysia, with the support of the World Health Organization (WHO), the Ministry of Health of Malaysia, the Malaysian AIDS Council and the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) in conjunction with World Hepatitis Day 2021. Malaysia piloted a hepatitis C virus self-testing (HCVST) study right after the WHO’s global launch of the 1st HCVST guidelines.
