67th World Health Assembly
From 19 to 24 May 2014
In 2010, the first resolution on viral hepatitis was adopted at the 63rd World Health Assembly (WHA63.18). Four years after, a new resolution : « Improving the health of patients with viral hepatitis » is at the agenda of this 67th WHA. You can download the report of the secretariat here.
The World Health Assembly is the decision-making body of WHO. It is attended by delegations from all WHO Member States and focuses on a specific health agenda prepared by the Executive Board (you can download the WHA67 agenda here).
The main functions of the World Health Assembly are to determine the policies of the Organization, appoint the Director-General, supervise financial policies, and review and approve the proposed programme budget. The Health Assembly is held annually in Geneva, Switzerland.
