7th International Symposium on Hepatitis Care in Substance Users
From 19 to 21 September 2018
In 2018 the 7th International Symposium on Hepatitis Care in Substance Users will be held in Cascais, Portugal. It is organized by the International Network for Hepatitis in Substance Users (INHSU), an international organization dedicated to scientific knowledge exchange, knowledge translation, and advocacy focused on hepatitis C prevention and care among people who use drugs.
The symposium covers the latest advances on hepatitis C epidemiology, management and treatment of viral hepatitis among people who use drugs, with a specific focus on hepatitis C. Through dissemination of scientific knowledge the Symposium aims to contribute to the World Health Organization’s goal of eliminating hepatitis C by 2030.
The International Symposium on Hepatitis in Substance Users attracts delegates including health professionals (doctors, nurses and allied health), researchers, community organisations, people who use drugs and policy makers.
