Central and Eastern European Meeting on Viral Hepatitis and HIV 2025

Thursday 25 September
The 9th Central and Eastern European Meeting on Viral Hepatitis and HIV (CEE 2025) will take place in Prague, Czechia and virtually from 25 to 26 September 2025.
Great strides have been made in the treatment of HIV and viral hepatitis, but major challenges in recent years including the COVID-19 pandemic as well as military conflicts have severely impacted services in the CEE region. There is now a great need to share lessons learned from this crisis. More than ever, we must work together to get the HIV and hepatitis response back on track and move towards the elimination of HIV/AIDS and viral hepatitis as a global public health threat. Strong cooperation between clinicians, scientists, community organizations, public health agencies, academic institutions, and industry will be crucial if we are to succeed.
This independent series of meetings was initiated in 2014 and has since been further developed by regional and international key opinion leaders for the medical and scientific community in Eastern and Central European countries. Given the rapid advancements in the treatment of HIV and viral hepatitis, clinicians and scientists must stay informed about and discuss the upcoming region-specific challenges.
