Dialogues for Viral Hepatitis Elimination

The World Health Organization (WHO) through the Global Hepatitis Program (HQ, Geneva) convenes monthly webinars on accelerating global progress towards viral hepatitis B and C elimination. The webinars are primarily directed at viral hepatitis program officers/managers and policy makers from key countries. Other targeted audience also includes implementing and other partners and relevant communities. The webinars provide a platform to dialogue, share ideas and experiences, amplify best practices to operationalize the viral hepatitis elimination strategies by 2030.

Six (6) webinar sessions are scheduled to be hosted in partnership with Project ECHO from December 2022 to June 2023. Each session is 75 minutes featuring a brief didactic presentation, followed by an interactive presentations of country experience from the different WHO regions on implementation considerations, lessons learnt as well as potential innovative approaches to scale up of priority services towards the 2030 elimination targets. Different regions will be presenting at every session. Case studies presented in the sessions will be complied and available to all participants via WHO SharePoint. Specific details on the topic and presenters of the subsequent sessions will be sent one week prior to the session.
