World Hepatitis Day

Instituted by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2008, the World Hepatitis Day is an opportunity to step up national and international efforts on hepatitis and urge partners and Member States to support the roll-out of the first Global Health Sector Strategy on viral hepatitis for 2016–2021.
The World Hepatitis Day is also a global day of action for people living with hepatitis and their allies to demand universal access to prevention and care.
